“My mother was diagnosed with mesothelioma in 2012. Charles was always there for our entire family, not only as our attorney but as our friend. Every time I called, texted or emailed Charles, he responded immediately and was always professional, pleasant and understanding. Our case was dismissed by a district judge, reinstated by the court of appeals, and was successfully settled for us. I would highly recommend Charles to anyone who needs a mesothelioma lawyer.”

"My husband and I were enjoying retirement when he was diagnosed with mesothelioma. We interviewed several law firms before deciding to hire Charles to help us. He and the team of lawyers that he had helping him did a great job of representing us. We were kept up to date with proceedings and Charles always explained our options clearly."

PERSONAL INJURY

Personal injury cases cover wrongful death, birth defects, fetal injuries, burn injuries, brain injury and spinal cord injury. Charles E. Valles has helped many victims throughout the country obtain financial compensation for their injuries. We will work to try to ensure that your rights are protected and that you receive a fair recovery if your injury has been caused by someone else not being responsible.

MESOTHELIOMA AND CANCER

Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer caused by asbestos exposure. The disease develops in the tissue that covers the internal organs, called the mesothelium. In a landmark 1972 case, an asbestos manufacturer was found to have withheld knowledge of the harmful asbestos side effects. Since then, many individuals and their families have filed successful mesothelioma lawsuits against asbestos manufacturers, securing compensation for the immense physical and emotional devastation that can result from a mesothelioma prognosis and other asbestos-related diseases.

There is no known cure for mesothelioma. The disease develops at a very gradual rate, and the prognosis for mesothelioma is grim: sufferers are often given a projected six to eighteen months to live. Needless to say, the repercussions of a mesothelioma diagnosis are devastating and far-reaching. We firmly believe that mesothelioma victims and their loved ones deserve the greatest possible compensation to cope with the effects of asbestos exposure.  The Valles Law Firm proudly fights for the rights of people who have been affected like workers from factories, shipyards, auto industries, boilermakers, textile seamstresses, dry cleaning, petroleum industries, refineries, mining, steel, construction, power plants, fabrication, industrial transportation, aviation, and chemical companies. While exposure most often occurs in the workplace, it can also happen at home, in public buildings or in the military.

No matter where you may have been exposed to asbestos, the dangers to human health are very real and can lead to devastating diseases including asbestosis, lung cancer, and mesothelioma cancer.

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS

Companies and landowners sometimes violate federal, state, and local environmental laws that regulate the discharge of toxic wastes and other pollutants into the environment. Sometimes the company decides that it’s cheaper to pollute than to prevent toxic and chemical exposure to innocent people through the air they are breathing, the water they are drinking, or soil. Charles E. Valles has litigated complex cases against environmental bad actors and negligent parties. These releases can be intentional, or can occur following explosions, leaks, spills, or fires.
